Beautiful 4th of July weekend

The weather in the San Juan Islands has been great. We went for a paddle today with our favorite sea kayak rental company, Discovery Sea Kayaks and went for a two day paddle out around the back side of San Juan Island. We saw Orcas, seals, and some amazing underwater sea life. I can't get over how clear the water is this time of year. The wind's picked up a little today, so it might be a good day for a kayak sail-- or just a plain old sailing trip. I put our crab pot outside the harbor last night and got some new fishing lures-- maybe we'll catch a rock fish today?
